News: Voice of America highlights student innovation teams!

Our March Madness for the Mind teams did a great job showcasing their innovations at the Exploratorium in San Francisco last month. Voice of America was there - read the story!

 

 

 

 

And the 2010 winner is...

                               

Student teams participating in the 2010 March Madness for the Mind exhibition created short videos that tell the story of their innovation. These videos were open for public viewing and voting March 8-19, 2010 and over 3,000 votes were cast.

First place went to OsmoPure from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Watch the Video. The OsmoPure team won $800 to help advance the project.

The other two video competition finalists were:

  • The Enhancing Bio-Morphological Helmet from Michigan Technological University Watch the video
  • The Human-powered Nebulizer from Marquette University Watch the video

Cast your vote for the best March Madness for the Mind 2010 video now!We've partnered with Inventors Digest to showcase some of the top student invention teams during the March Madness for the Mind public exhibition at the Exploratorium in San Francisco on March 27. Participating teams have created very cool short videos that tell the story of their innovation. Watch the videos and vote for your favorite team! The winning team will be announced at the Exploratorium, and will be awarded $800. Cast your vote by March 19!

March Madness for the Mind is the annual showcase of innovations from the NCIIA's top E-Teams. The exhibition takes place each year during NCIIA's Annual Conference, and is an opportunity for the best student innovation teams from around the country to demonstrate their products and technologies.

March Madness for the Mind 2010 will be held at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, on Saturday, March 27, 10am-2pm PST.
